Job Descriptions:
• Responsible for reviewing applications for all openings
• Conducts and/or acquires background checks for perspective employees
• Helps to Plan and conduct informational meetings such as benefit open enrollment, new hire orientation and other related meetings
• Assists in maintaining compliance with federal, state and local employment law and regulations and recommend best practices; reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance
• Participates in the safety committee and prepares safety related SOP’s and practices
• Responsible for the preparation and completion of payroll on a bi-weekly basis
• Compiles payroll data such as garnishments, deductions, insurance, employees change in pay, and personnel information
• Assist with benefit reconciliation, review benefit elections, and provide timely communication to benefit carries of changes within employee benefits
• Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Performs other duties as assigned
• 2 years experience preferred
